I keep telling him that it’s about training your taste buds to like a healthier fare. Before, the idea of eating veggies was like BLAH CITY to me. Now I’m like; “oh look at all the pretty colors in my salad, YUM!”
This might sound weird, but not drinking diet soda anymore makes me sad. It’s like an old friend that brought me comfort and I looked forward to seeing every day. I never intended to go soda-free, just cut back, but it just sort of happened and I’m on a roll so I hate to break my streak now.

But the Fitbit has been a wakeup call. If I want to hit my 10,000 steps a day goal, my butt has to get to the gym daily and on that treadmill or it ain’t happening.
