P.S. I realize that this “About Me” page is waaaay outdated since I was preggo when I wrote it – newly preggo even, so that makes it really old. :/ I’m such a lazy mom blogger. I’ll update this as soon as I can remember to do it!

Hi! How are ya? I’m doing well, thanks. I’m glad you stopped by to visit my blog because this is really no fun without you.  And since you’re here, let’s get to know each other a bit. I’ll go first.

Let’s see… I’m a nice Midwestern girl trying to find my place in this crazy planet called the San Francisco Bay Area. As a young girl in Indiana I used to dream about living in Cali and being famous. But now I just live in the Cali burbs with my husband and red dog and well, I’m definitely not famous.

For fun, I have a pop culture blog where I love to muse about my favorite things in entertainment.  But truth be told, I find my own internal musings quite entertaining as well. And that’s why I started this blog; because sometimes I don’t feel like writing about pop culture. Sometimes I just want to write about me, and life in general.

Last year when I started this blog I wanted to write about turning 30. I thought it was going to be a HUGE deal to turn the dreaded 3-o and I wanted an online forum to complain about my advancing age. But low and behold, I had more fun in year 30 of my life than I ever have! I took several super fun vacations to places like Cabo San Lucas, Palm Springs, LA/Hollywood, New Orleans, and Gulf Shores – and I blogged about them all! In terms of challenging myself, I did a 65 mile bike marathon in the spring and ran a half marathon in the fall! I wanted to prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to – and I did! And to round out my fabulously busy year, I found out that I’m pregnant and beginning my journey toward motherhood!

Now, my blog has turned into the diaries of this soon-t0-be baby mama! You can never run out of things to blog about when you’re preggo. I hope to entertain family, friends, and strangers with my humorous and heartfelt take on pregnancy, and to get some advice from you along the way! Hey, I’m like a sponge soakin’ up all the knowledge there is, so hit meh!
